1. Best Waterproof Overall
Tarte - Lights, Camera, Splashes
While this mascara used to be better and it appears the formula over the the past two years has changed and got a bit thicker, this is my go-to waterproof mascara. It goes on very smoothly and gives your lashes a thicker, natural, defined and enhanced look. With the new formula, I noticed it now runs a little by the end of the day, but it still remains my favourite waterproof mascara.
2. Best Daily
Armani Beauty - Eyes to Kill Lengthening Mascara
While this is not considered a "waterproof" mascara it functions like one with no flaking, long, all day staying power. It is also not clumpy, defines your lashes and goes on smooth.
3. Best Drugstore
Maybelline actually makes two consistently good waterproof mascaras, Lash Sensational and Great Lash.
Lash Sensational, with its curved brush, gives you a bit more volume and length and is great for an evening out.
Great Lash provides more subtle definition, not as much curl and volume, but goes on light and smooth with no clumps and and is good for everyday wear.
Both of these waterproof mascaras are relatively more affordable and available at the drugstore.
4. Waterproof Mascara that doesn't live up to the hype

I purchased this mascara to try as it came up on a few lists as a top waterproof mascara. I found it very thick and clumpy, weighing down my lashes.
